She attended Queens College and received her degree in Art History and Fine Arts, with a minor in Photography. With five years working in the industry, her experience ranges from editorial to runway to beauty, with special effects being her area of expertise. Medina then began freelancing for fashion photographers and stylists, and had his work published in various magazines, shooting covers, fashion editorials, and ad campaigns.
